Fri{YAY} Favorites : DIY Outdoor Wedding

AHHHHHH We did it! J & I are finally married. I get to call the man of my dreams my HUSBAND!!!!

There are still happy tear flowing out of my eyes overtime I think about it. That day literally the best day of my life.

But the place we had the wedding which in talk about here was totally Do It Yourself, which I personally loved because we could make it anyway we wanted it. We started decorating at 10:00am, I don't think the final people left till about 2:00 or 3:00pm. Jake and I went and helped for about two hours, just to make sure it was set up exactly how we wanted it for the most part and then left the rest to our amazing families.

For our wedding we  I wanted a beachy type theme, but weren't sure how to accomplish it at a barn... We pulled it off! We had lanterns full of shells on the tables, and lining the walls, starfish and conch shells strategically placed throughout the venue, a ships wheel at the alter guiding us to a happy life together. (cheesy I know but I thought it was cute)

Here is what some of the finished product looks like during the day time. All decorated by family and most of the decor came from my parents house!

We did not do the typical/traditional you cant see the bride the night before until she walks down the isle. Which I admit we really wanted to, but the circumstances did not permit and we were totally fine with it. At 1 oclock Saturday we went our separate ways until our First Look a few hours later.

We are still waiting for pictures from our photographer but we did get a little sneak peek... Which made me cry!

I wish I could relive this day over and over again. The first almost week of marriage have been wonderful! I love hearing him call me his wife, I love hearing being called Mrs. W and waking up everyday next to my husband!!!

It is coming... and I am a Bad Blogger.

J and I's wedding that is.

I am so excited and nervous and stressed and overly emotional and spastic. I can not think straight. I can figure out what I need for what. And I have missed blogging so much it has been Way to long and I am so sorry

I can not believe we are doing this finally. It has taken so long and we are planning a wedding for 75 people in under 3 months! I dont know how we are doing but we are and now we are in single digits of days away!!

How am I not losing my mind? Oh because its already lost, its gone, I am crazy.

I will admit my mom has taken a lot of the stressful part from me. She is making the glasses for people to drink out of, she got coozies for those who need one, shes taking care of food, and drinks, and bartender and decor. I can not say how lucky I have to have her in my life. I know I am stresses her out too but in the end I hope it will all be worth it.

This is my only favorite this week, it is the only thing really on my mind since we are so close to the big day!!

We finally got our marriage license, which we could have gotten sooner but we though you needed you SS card and mine was in my parents lock box... Turns out the county clerks website lies and you just need to know your number.

Getting the license however was my least favorite thing about this week, it took FOREVER, we were in there for at least an hour and a half just sitting waiting for our number to be called.. there was 26 windows and 5 people working at their window but only one window was calling people up. It may have stressed me out a bit.

Other than that little pain in my butt, ;ast week flew by and Im hoping this week will to! This weekend I will start getting everything together to have it all ready for us.


The wedding is now 4 days away hopefully once we get back and settled I will be blogging more. I am sorry, I have so many blogs planned to write for you guys!! Thanks for your patience.
