Well I have officially been out venturing in the adult world with a big girl job for a year…. & it is nothing like I expected.
I’ve got a tiny cubicle in an office with co-workers who all have grandchildren or are about to have them, I fight traffic for 45 minutes to go just under 15 miles every morning and every night Monday thru Friday. Only to make 12.50/hr. with a degree in Human Communication from the University of Central Florida that cost me roughly 30k…
I go home to a loving man who I have been with for almost 6 and a half years and engaged to for 4… We live in the upstairs bonus room of his parents’ house because even with college degrees and full time jobs we don’t make enough for our own place yet.
Between student loans, car payments, and other bills, trying to plan a wedding big or small
(at this point it’s all freaking me out and we don’t even have a date set)
J and I are learning life- at least trying to
& I have decide to start a little outlet for all of the excitement, the joy, the stress, and the struggles, all of it the good, the bad, and the absolutely ugly.
I am new to all of this so bare with me and enjoy watching reading how I learn this whole adult life thing.
